Holding her hand, the sun warm on their skin Killow led his daughter through the long grass the scent of wild flowers easing their senses, listening to his daughter sing he felt a realaxation roll across his form, a feeling he had been lacking for a little while. He had been struggling to control his Lycan side recently and this was just what he thought he might need, just to get out into the wild, where it was clean and safe, to spend some time with loved ones.
Looking down at Anya he smiled as she tugged on his arm going on and on about a large butterfly they had seen on their walk over.
Stopping he knelt by her pushing some curls of hair behind her ears "Ok honey you can run off and play as long as you don't leave this meadow ok?" he laughed as she nodded so fast he wondered how she didn't fall over. His Hazel eyes scanned her face his expression fading to a serious one for just a moment "Make sure you stay close though so I always know where you are" he then let go of her hand, kissing her forehead he shoed her off watching her run through the grass laughing to herself it warmed him slightly.

Lowering himself into the long grass after having a long slow look around the meadow making sure it was indeed as safe as it seemed to be, he slowly lay back into the grass taking in the smell, a sickly sweet damp smell he had come to love over the years of his life. Closing his eyes he listened to his daughter run back and forth a slow smile lingering on his face.

Running through the woods she laughed as two leopards both ran after her. She crashed through the forest into the meadow, not even attempting to conceal themselves the leopards pounced on her. Her long hair was tangled with leaves and small branches. She dodged the first of the leopards to pounce on her, then was taken down by the other. She growled, her eyes brightly glowing a greenish-yellow color. She smirked, rolling the leopard onto it's back as she opened her mouth, her fangs protruding from the gums on top of her mouth. She laughed as the leopard snapped at her. The second leopard circled them, waiting for her to stand so it could then take her down. She stood, seeing the second leopard ready to pounce she leaned back, her back bending so she placed her hands flat against the earth, pushing her feet over her body. She flipped, her feet swinging through the air and then landing on the ground. She stood up, watching the leopard fly at the place were she'd just been standing. Laughing the whole time the girl jumped over the leopard on the ground in the grass with ease, then began running once more. The leopards, both, jumped up and cashed her. She laughed as she looked behind her, winding up with her foot catching on something. She blinked, sitting up to have the leopards looking at her. She laughed, nodding her head as she laid back against the grass. The leopards both walked over and laid next to her. She shivered in the sun, her tank top hugging her form tightly, the black of it capturing the sun's rays and holding the warmth against her skin.

Her breathing was slowing down as was her heart beat. Though she smiled, her mind still racing as she attempted to calm it. She still wanted to play, but knew her and the leopards needed rest. She reached above her head on the ground, pulling a piece of grass from the soil. She began to wind it about her index finger boredly. She turned her head swiftly as she rolled over, making sure er face didn't land in the soil once more. She smiled, closing her eyes as she laid her head against her arm. She then heard it, the breathing two others. She stood up, her head twisting around and then focused on one spot. She blushed lightly, walking over to them, she sat down next to the two of them, pulling her legs to her chest. She bit her lower lip, listening to the child sing. She could only think that they were family by the way the male held the small girl. She tilted her head slightly as she leopards looked at her curiously. She smiled at them, nodding. She closed her eyes as the leopards glided over to her, laying in a way that their forms created a circle about her position in the grass. Her hands stretched out to the leopards fur. She sighed softly, feeling the softness of it beneath her fingers. She ran her hands along their spines as she laid her cheek against her knee. She licked her lips as she began to hum the songs melody against the girl's voice. She smiled, remembering the song from when she was a child herself.

Raising his head the male leopard at her feet looked at her with his optics full of concern. She smiled at him and nodded that she was fine. She kept humming as she closed her own optics once more. The leopard laying his head back down against his paws. She kept her fingers dancing over the fur of the second leopard. The one she used to pet the male leopard at her feet was now wrapped back around her legs, holding them to her as she hummed with the child. She swallowed, taking a breath and then went back to humming the song, her voice rising and falling against the child's. She bit her lower lip, then began to chew on it as she hummed the soft melody. Her fingers began to dance over the fur of the second leopard in tune with the melody as she counted the notes in her head. She released her legs, leaning back and stretching out to lay them over the leopards back. She smiled slightly, her arms, both, behind her, holding her form up from the ground. Her long hair fell from her shoulders, touching the ground only slightly. She kept humming her pale face turned towards the sky as she nodded her head in time with the note counting in her mind. She felt something that she hadn't felt for a long time, since before the accident, happiness bubble up inside of her. She blushed lightly, [i]'This little girl and a stupid song, could bring that back?'[i] She frowned somewhat, still humming as she began to argue with herself, then shook her head, losing both voices in her humming and hearing only the voice of her mother singing the song to her when she was a child in her head.

Yawning his arms stretched into the air, the only part of him which could be seen from the grass. Lowering them down he sighed content to just relax and listen to Anya run around enjoying herself. not having had much freedom to do as she had wanted in the months since he had found got her back from the gang.
Rumaging around his pocket he pulled out a cigar lighting it. This was a small celebration for him after all, it was Eleven years to date since he had escaped the facility. Lighting it he sighed as happy as he could get which was a lot more then usual for him.

Hearing a number of feet near the meadow he narrowed his eyes, slolwy sitting up so not to draw to much attention to himself. He scanned the field fast his eyes running over Anya before freezing seeing the two large leapords run into the clearing. A low growl echo'd from his chest possibly to low for most creature to hear. But he stayed where he was, he did not want to engage or startle them into an attack with his daughter in the middle. By the time he got to her, they would have also.

Moving his legs slowly to stand he stopped seeing the new pack member with them, for an instant it seemed they were attacking her but soon enough he realised they were playing. Now feeling no threat to his daughter he lowered himself back into the grass hearing the woman hum along to his daughters tune he smiled lying back once more, keeping aware of them yet not to concerned by the three.

Not much could have been said for Anya who instantly screamed and ran across to the new group totally enthralled by the creatures. Slowing as she got there she moved her hands out silently as though to pet them.

Laughing Anne nodded to the small child. The first male leopard stood, gliding over to the child. She smiled as she knew what the leopard was about to do. The leopard pounce gently on the child, licking the small child's face in a happy way. Soon Anne reached out, tapping the leopards tail. She laughed as it walked back over to where it'd been laying. She smiled, then shook her head, standing up. She brushed her pants off, helping the small child up off the ground. She smiled, rolling her eyes at her as if to say that the leopards were being silly. She smiled at her, standing straight up. The girl's breathing had returned to normal, her body was aching now from the rough-housing they'd done for the past few hours. She turned around in a circle, scanning the clearing, she spotted the male as she bit her lower lip. The male leopard walked behind her, nudging her behind the knees as if to tell her to move over to him and talk. She glared down at the leopard and stuck out her tongue as she took a deep breath. She began to walk over to the male that was laying down. She watched the leopards stay with the child, swatting at each other playfully and smiled as she watched the child play with them and be at ease with the large leopards. She sat down next to the male, her legs stretched out in front of her as she leaned back against her hands. She glanced down at him, her head slightly tilted back as she looked at the sky, she smiled softly, the sun shinning down on her pale form, hitting her pale, porcelain skin where ever her jeans were ripped. Biting her lower lip, she let her lips part, as if she were going to say something, then closed them. She finally decided to speak, her voice was soft, sweet, nearly hypnotic as she spoke,
"It's nice to see someone who's not afraid of harmless creatures like them. Is she your daughter?' She felt so stupid as soon as the words left her lips. She closed her eyes, feeling the sunshine against her skin. Looking down at him from the corner of her eyes, she attempted to appear nonchalant, thinking he'd notice her and say something other than just a silly side conversation. She shifted her eyes completely closed as she sighed, the sun warming up her own skin. She shivered some, feeling her hair brush against her lower back, a few strands still falling down over her shoulders to her waist. She swallowed, awaiting his answer, hearing the giggling of the child not too far off, and the playful growls of the leopards following it. She seemed relaxed, or at least she hoped she seemed relaxed, her mind was screaming for her to get up and run, not knowing what to say or what to do scared her some, she had never been put in this situation before. She didn't like it, especially now that her mind was trying to work a million miles a second, trying to come up with something sweet, yet intelligent to say to the male laying next to her. She crossed her legs at her ankles, pushing her shoes off with her feet. She left her socks on, hoping her feet didn't smell too bad from sweating all day in those God-forsaken shoes. She blushed some, realizing her socks were hello kitty socks, she reached own quickly, pulling her shoes back on, and then going back into her nonchalantly relaxed pose, that she'd been in before.

He would chuckle lightly as he heard Anya run across to the animals, Inhaling a take of his cigar slowly he shook his head, hair falling across the grass beside him, his hair tie loose fitted. It amazed him how the child lacked fear in most things. For many reasons that was a bad thing and he would have to keep an extra careful eye upon her as she grew older and became expossed to more dangers that the world had to offer. But in another way it was a very good thing. In his opinion anyway, it meant she would never be scared to try new things and back away from responsibilities.
Listening carefully to the goings on he heard his daughters form drop to the floor followed by the feet of one of the cats, he made no attempt to get up not sensing anything bad from the situation he rightly assumed they were playing, he would not coddle his daughter he would let her learn for herself as much as possible, he did not mind steering her out of harms way but that would be as far as he would control the child.

Exhaling the smoke he allowed his eyes to focus straight up into the clouds hearing the woman that had recently joined the pack start to come over how ever slowly and hesitant she was. He waited for her to take a seat in the grass next to him before aknowledging her with a simple nod replacing the cigar to his lips once more he was in a rather passive mood for once. Smiling he watched her attempting to look normal to him it made her look more rigid. It amused him yet concerned him as to why she would be so uncomfortable in his company he didn't want to seem like a threat to anyone.

Raising his arms and kness slowly as she began to spoke, he wrapped his hands around his knees using them to pull himself up into a sitting position as she questioned him, he laughed lightly his voice soft against the wind, holding none of the usual anger within it. Today was a good day.
"I don't think that girl is afraid of much at all. And yeah she is my daugher, her name is Anya" he nodded watching her shift and blush uncomfortably he tried not to allow a frown to crease his expression his hazel optics scanned her face. Before his face broke into an amused smile once more watching her fumble about with her shoes.
Deciding he would break the tension she was seeming to freak out upon he extended his hand leaning across his knee towards her "My name is Killow And you are Anne Right?"

Looking at the male, her cheeks began to shift into a darker pink. She licked her lips, swallowing some as she heard his voice, her heart began to speed up. She reached over, looking at his hand, she took hold of it, her heart nearly skipping a beat as she watched him, the colors swirling in a violently chaos in her optics. Her heart began to thump unevenly as she pulled her hand away. She coughed softly, turning her face back to the sky as she leaned back against her hand, replacing the one she'd used to shake his hand back behind her. She sighed softly as she thought of something to say, 'Yes, I'm Anne. Uh...' She had no clue what to say now, her cheeks grew to a full blush as she sighed, running her fingers through her hair as she sat up completely, pulling her knees up some, she rested her elbows against her knees, leaning forward slightly. Her optics were as chaotic as her mind and her heart, everything was screaming at her. Her mind screaming to run, she was so freaked out by this man that she couldn't think straight. Yet her heart was screaming for her to kiss him, which would probably have ended up worse if she did. She shook her head, her hair flying about her pale face as she sighed. She locked here fingers together as she cast her eyes around her, then focused them on the leopards who were growling at each other. She knew it was only in family love that they were fighting, or rather about to tumble around on the ground like cubs. She smiled slightly, the tension that the male had mistook as a thought of a threat eased out of her, until she turned back to the male. She bit her lower lip once more, chewing on it as she would a piece of gum, the tension that she'd just let go of came right back, she hoped the male didn't realize it as she sat there, her optics swirling in a violent tornado of colors and lights.

Her voice was soft as she closed her eyes, blurting out whatever she was thinking at the moment, 'I don't think of you as a threat.' She gasped, her hands flying to cover her mouth before she could let anything else out of it. Her cheeks were even redder than before now. She couldn't believe that she just embarrassed herself like that. She shook her head, letting her arms go back to hanging loosely against her knees at the elbows, 'Ignore that.' She swallowed, closing her eyes as she bit her lower lip, chewing on it once more, then released it as she spoke softly, 'I'm sorry, I'm not....Used to this....' Her voice was hesitant, hoping the male knew what she was talking about. She sighed softly as she leaned back, laying against the grass. Her long hair flowed around her form, nearly framing as she laid there. Her hands locked together on her stomach, then she couldn't take it anymore. She sat back up, looking around for leopards, seeing them and the child totally enthralled with one and other. She swallowed, thinking so quickly she was missing her own thoughts. Her high cheek bones were shaded in a red as she blushed, turning to the male. She rubbed her hands against the thighs of her jeans, then turned back away, not wanting to seem creepy, but wanting what she wanted at the same time was hard on her. She couldn't believe she'd thought she could do that. She shook her head as she thought about just leaning into the male, kissing him, getting up and running away. She couldn't do it thought. She was a warrior when it came to fighting, but men, she couldn't. She was a coward as she looked at the leopards entertaining the child and themselves by rolling about on the grass, knocking into each other quickly and then jumping away. She smiled, realizing that if she could do what she wanted the leopards would stay there. She swallowed harshly, not knowing what do to.

Her heart skipped a beat as she looked at the male once more. she leaned into him, her lips gently pressing against his. Her eyes slid shut as she kissed him. She pulled away, looking at him for a moment, then jumped up and ran into the woods she'd come out of. Her heart was beating quicker than if she'd been in a life-or-death situation. She couldn't believe that she'd done that. She shooed the leopards back into the meadow as she stood, leaning against a tree. Her palm pressed flatly against her heart, feeling how fast it was now beating. She smiled slightly, her other hand going up and touching her lips gently as she blushed, biting her lower lip. She shivered some, remembering how it felt to kiss him. She saw fireworks going off in her head as her lips touched his, yet she'd run. He was probably confused now, but she couldn't go back, she couldn't face him after that. She slid her back down the trunk, seating herself just outside the edge of the meadow behind a tree. She sat there, replaying the kiss in her mind, her hand still over her heart as her index finger of the other one rubbed her lower lip gently.

He drew his hand away once more not sure if he should have actually offered it, it had only seemed to make the woman so much worse. Her skin was an alarming shade of pink and her eyes were shifting he was begining to think she might have a funny turn on him. Watching her he studied her face for a moment trying to work out if it would be best just to get up and leave her to it as he was having what seemed like a bad effect on her. Becoming more certain of it as she spoke in a stutter he sighed silently watching her shift her position for some reason he was starting to feel bad for the woman as though he were hurting her.

Glancing up quickly as the grows of the leopords turned to that of aggression he tensed up leaning his form up higher to see if Anya was alright, relaxing as it stopped and he had seen Anya was alright he sat back into his prior position "You know your lip is really not that good for you" he nods at the fact she was about to bite straight through it "Won't actually taste all that nice"
Flinching as she spat the words she didnt see him as a threat he nodded "Well thats good but how did you know I was thinking that? I did not say it out loud?" he did not like people wondering about in his head he found it off putting and rude.

There was no doubt about it as she kissed him he was shocked he had not seen it coming in fact it was most probably the last thing he thought that was going to happen. Just sitting there he tried to will himself to kiss her back but at that moment in time something wouldn't let him. He did not know this woman at all yet, would it be a betrayal of his deceased wife? Would Anya understand what would be the best thing for his daughter? all the questions quickly crowded his head as she had kissed him.
Stunned he watched her get up and run away, for a few minutes he just sat there totally lost before hauling his body to his feet. Looking at the large cats he pointed "You watch that kid there" he stared at them for a moment for some reason trusting them with his daughter.
Turning he started to walk into the tree line in an attempt to find Anne.

Her breathing as erratic as she sat there, her mind replaying the event again and again inside of her head. She blushed lightly as she rubbed her index finger of her left hand over her lips. She smiled sweetly, not as a shy as she'd been around the male. She stood up, smiling and dazed as she stood up. She flipped her hair behind her as she walked, humming softly to herself, oblivious to those that might be following her or even trying to find her. She couldn't hear anything as she walked, humming to herself. She closed her eyes, knowing the forestation surroundings as she walked, she kept rubbing her index finger as she ran, her other hand over her heart. She opened her eyes, watching about her, her eyes shifting around. She giggled giddily as she walked, her hair shinning every time she walked into the light of the sun that fell down upon her some. She ran her fingers through her hair as she bit her lower lip, then smiled as she turned back towards the meadow. She bit her lower lip, wondering if he'd be mad at her for what she'd did.

Tilting her head she walked back into the meadow. She looked around, seeing he wasn't there as she blinked, then seeing the leopards and the child Anya. She tilted her head and walked over, seating herself near them. She laid back, her arms behind her head, her fingers twined together. Her hair lain about her form and fell softly against the grass. She crossed her legs at the ankles and stretched out. She hummed softly, then closed her eyes. She bit her lower lip as she uncrossed her legs she stretched out. Rolling over onto her side she curled her legs up to her chest, her hair fell around her, over her shoulder and against her cheek. Giving her the sense of wearing a halo made of dark light, She'd curled up as she laid her head against her arms that were now under the side of her face. Her body laid in the warm light. She yawned softly and then licked her lips. She heard the growls of the leopards as she laid there. She yawned softly.

Curling her legs to her chest, she took a deep breath. Her breathing was now even and steady. She closed her eyes as she breathed in the scent of the grass and flowers about her. She swallowed, then licked her lips as she shivered, she felt the sun warm up her skin as she laid there. Her humming shifted, fading in and out as she started to fade into sleep. Her pale skin was shimmering in the light. Her porcelain face was brilliant as she laid there, peaceful and quiet about her. She then felt something move against her back and her arms and legs. She took another deep breath. The leopards were now laying with her, curled against her back and curled against the front of her. She nuzzled her face into the leopards fur as she laid there.
