Ranks and Descriptionms.

Pack Ranks

They may be changed at any given time as the Leaders see fit. Please check here evey now and then to havea look and see if there has been changes made. If you lose your rank or are changed, you will be notifed via PM.

::Leader Ranks::
These wolves are the highest rank in the pack. The leaders keep the pack organised, safe and in order; Answering any questions that one may have about our family. Please do not hesitate to ask for advice on anything at all, that is what they are there for.

These wolves are the fighters of the pack, they look out for any sins of trouble among the members that the Leaderes may over look and report it. They are the wolves that keep the pack as a family and a strong unit.

Working Ranks are the wolves that feul the pack, providing the unit of famly; They keep the pack fed, they care, nurture and protect the lands and the wolves in it.

::Low Ranks::
Low ranking woves are the wolves that are usually new to the pack, waiting to be placed in a rank that the leaders see them as fit for.
Alternatively, these wolves may also be ones that have been punished and stripped of rank, starting a-new.

::Others (loners, other species, and guests.)::
These people may or may not have an ccount with us as a family or they may just appear in the Caht Box; Either way, they are to be treated with the same respect you show the rest of the family.

::Affiliating packs::
These are friend packs, co-existing beside our own. Member of these packs may or may not have an account with us and they may appear in the Chat Box. They are to be treated with respect as they are usually close friends with others and mistreatment or disrespect may lead to an unwanted fight between families.

These are the descriptions of the Ranks; If you are unsure f something, check here. If this does not answer your question, please contact a leader.
If you think you would be well suited for a particular rank, Plese do not hesitate to come forward and tell a leader. We will do our best to fit you where you would be happy to be placed; Although, if we see you deemed fit for anotherposition, you will be placed there instead.

LEADING RANKS

Alpha's
There are two Alpha's of any one given pack. They are the over all protectors and desicion makers of the pack.
Thier main job is to keep the pack safe, maintained, organised and happy as can be and they will do this in any way they see fit.
If there are any problems among the pack that may make one feel, unwelcome, un needed and or uncomfortable, it should immediatly be brought to the attention of an alpha (or Beta if there is no Alpha available) so that it may be sorted in a way that they deem fit and best for the pack.
The Alpha's have the final say in everything but they will not make a desicion until every one involved has stated ther oppinion and told what is in thier heart. Only then will the desicion be made decided on the best intentions for the family.
They work as one (along with thier Beta counterparts), in mind and in body, making a safe and fun environment for all.

Beta's
Second in command, they beta's pick up where the Alpha's cannot or are not able and answer only to thier Alpha's.
They are usually used to settle minor disputes and fights so teh alpha's may concentrate on more important things.
If an alpha cannot be present, then the Beta of Gender will step to fill the gap while the Alpha is gone, stepping back when the respective Alpha returns.

ENFORCERS/PROTECTORS

:Delta's:
The Deltas in a wolf pack take a different path in the pack. Deltas are usually third in command but do not have the authority to make pack altering decisions.
If the Betas are not present when the Alphas are around than the Deltas will step in to settle minor jobs or disputes.

:Royal Guard:
The Royal Guard are the biggest, strongest and most agile in fight.
There may any number of Royal Guard.
Thier job is a single one to protect the Leading Ranks at any cost. They are usually chosen for thier high respect for the Leading Ranks as long as thier capabilities. They Answer only to the Leaders.

:Enforcers:
Usually the larger and stronger Wolves.
The Enforcers inforce the laws set by The Leaders. If they see someone breaking a law or pressuring someone else to do so, they report it directly and immediatly to the Alpha's, or, if they are not available, the Beta's.
They also make sure that a punishment is being kept in order.
They answer only to the Leader's.

:Guardians:
Usually the larger and stronger wolves of the pack.
Thier sole job is to protect the entire pack; If they are to see an intruder the must ward the person off with any force nessicary. If, for some reason, it is not possible, the must report it to the Royal Guard.
They listen and ask the Scout team on a regular basis of any troubles found in the pack lands.
They answer to the Royal Guard and The leader's only.

::WORKING RANKS::

:Elders/Story Teller:
Traditionally older Varg (wolves) Who know all of the stories of legendary wolves and gods. They are patient smart and generally the oldest and wisest in the pack. (We only need one, though we will be picky on who we choose-generally the most advanced/detailed rp'er gets this position. You may audition for this spot.)


:Hunters:
Usually the fastest in the pack and the most agile. Must havea n average strength or more to take down prey. They must also have a comoflaged pelt. (No patterns, only colours such as browns, greens, blacks and reds.)
They will usually hunt 2-3 times a week depending ont eh prey available and how big the pack is.
Hunters usually hunt at dusk when most animals are getting ready for sleep and thier forms are masked best. They must learn to work as a unit, inside each other's headas much as possible.
They are only as strong as thier weakest member.
They answer only to The Hunter Captain and The leaders.
:Hunter Captain:
Keeps the Hunters in line and working as a untit. He/She must be an advanced Role Player, preferrably specifically in wolves.
He/She must keep thier hunters as strong as possible, watching the kinks and fails.
They report only to the Leaders.


:Scouts:
Usually the smallest of the pack, sometimes foxes and felines. Must be agile and quick and have an acute scence of smell, hearing and sight.
They scan the pack lands looking for any dangers. eg: Human Hunters, Traps, foriegn scents ect, anything that may bring danger to the Pack.
They must work as a unit. One picking up where the last couldnt to catch every possible thing.
They answer only to The Scout Captain and The Leaders.
:Scout Captain:
Must be an excepsional Role Player, preferably adept in canines and felines.
The scout captain keep his/her Scouts in line and healthy. He/She must train them in sights and hearing, making them the elite they can be.
They answer only to the Leaders and, if need be, report thier findings to The Guardians and the Leaders.



:Shamans/Healers:
This wolf is skilled in forms of herb-lore and healing.
A wolf that shows interest and skill in caring for weakened pack mates.
The Shaman of the Pack ensures when any wolf is wounded, they recover properly not putting to much stress on their wounds. They also watch over the older or ill wolves of the Pack.
They serve as a doctor, and try to keep the pack in a healthy state. Shamans make sure that no wolf over exerts themselves before, during, or after hunts.


:Pup Sitters:
Self explanitory.
These wolves take care of the pups and children, taking them to do fun things and making sure they are kept safe and happy.


:Pups:
Not really a rank, a pup is a child that is apart of the family that is not yet old enough for a rank.
